Debbie has been a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator for 13 years and is a single parent raising two boys, who are now ages 20 and 17.
Debbie has spent the past decade supporting students and teachers in elementary and middle school classrooms in several area schools. She has served as a weekly volunteer in her children’s classrooms; as a classroom assistant at a waldorf-inspired school; and as a special education instructional assistant in a southwest Santa Rosa school supporting learning and behavior with students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Debbie also served as a trustee on the Sebastopol Union School District board from 2011 - 2019 with several terms as board president.
